I would like to help you understand a little more about how I work with Spirit.
Being a natural born empath, I've learned to feel the energy of others. I take it on as my own.
I interpret it through my own senses.
This means, the feeling turns from thought to pictures plus words. Like watching a movie with subtitles and voice over.
The energy can interrupt a specific area of my body, ie, a chakra, that would be relating to an area of concern for you.
With a personal object, it's more about getting a clearer picture of the energy left behind (like an energy imprint ).
I would pick up the information by holding the object of either you or the departed. This can bring great insight into the history of any personal item.
When a soul has passed, I may take on how that happened. Or, they may just show up by talking to me, (at this time, I may see and hear them as well) saying: tell them so-and-so is here (and they will continue until I do, or until I tell them that's enough).
So regardless, if I'm working with a person, a personal object, or the departed, it's all energy.
Spirit is omnipresent.
